The 3M™ PELTOR™ ComTac™ 1st generation headset was a result of a project to prevent hearing damage and at the same time enhance the efficiency of the soldier’s mission during training as well as combat. The 1st generation 3M™ PELTOR™ ComTac™ headset was introduced in 1998 and since then versions of the ComTac headsets have been delivered and used in more than 40 countries worldwide.
The 3M™ PELTOR™ ComTac™ VIII is the latest in the established PELTOR product line of tactical headsets that provides hearing protection, environmental listening, and connectivity to communication solutions.
