Instructions:
Attachment to a vest or tactical belt:
Select strategic area for placement on the vest (consider optimal placement for dominant hand).
Insert the pouch clips behind two vest strips (clips can also be inserted between the stitches).
To lock the Trigger Pouch on the vest, pull each vest clip outwards until the clips click into place.
Ensure that the Trigger Pouch is locked with the safety catch.
Loading the Trigger Pouch:
This device has 3 safety mechanisms for the spoon (lever) that allows the user to dissemble the thumb safety.
To open the top cover, release safety catch and simaltaneously press side buttons.
Insert the grenade in the Trigger Pouch; make sure the safety lever (spoon) is secured within the lever protection.
Before closing the top cover, ensure that the pull ring is secure against the ring protector
Close the top cover.
Thread the pull string onto the hook on the back of the Trigger Pouch, make sure it is secure.
Lock the buttons by clicking up the safety catch.
Operating Instructions:
Select the desired hand for extraction of grenade.
Wrap hand around the grenade placing fingers on the side buttons.
Click down safety catch, pressing the side buttons simultaneously.
Wrap hand around the grenade – ensuring you’re holding the safety lever and swiftly extract the grenade.
Pull the safety ring and throw grenade.
*PLEASE NOTE - The grenade is now in your hand without the safety pin and is ready to be thrown.*
ONCE EXTRACTED FROM POUCH, DO NOT SWITCH HANDS.
Removing the Trigger pouch from vest:
To unlock the upper pouch clips, push clips towards back of pouch and outwards.
Pull pouch upwards through the vest strips.
To safely remove an unused grenade from the Trigger Pouch:
Open the safety catch and simultaneously press the side buttons.
If the grenade was not used and the thumb safety was removed, re-secure the lever (spoon) after retrieving the grenade from the device.
Remove the grenade.
Close the top cover.
General Precautions:
When attaching the Trigger Pouch to the vest make sure that the pouch clips are secured and locked.
Make sure that the lever (spoon) is in the lever protector.
Make sure that the ring is secure against the ring protector.
Make sure that the safety catch is facing up and locks the side buttons.
Do not block the top cover.
When extracting the grenade from the Trigger Pouch ensure that your hand is wrapped around the lever (spoon).
*As soon as the grenade is pulled from the device without the pull ring it is activated and ready to be thrown.
Maintenance:
Do not clean the Trigger Pouch when a grenade is in it.
The Trigger Pouch should be cleaned after use with pressurized air, damp rag or running water (under tap).
Do not use any cleaning agents other than water.
Do not cut or make any change to the Trigger Pouch.
